I want to say a big thank you all of the staff at Barrington College. My son completed the Diploma of Business in-school program. The teachers went above and beyond to support him with his studies. They did an amazing job to help him complete the modules, while he was studying year 12. It was their additional support, including holiday workshops, and extra Zoom sessions, that helped him get over the line with the qualification. My son will study a Bachelor of Business at Griffith University. The credit pathways, to Griffith University, is the equivalent of him going into second year with his degree. Science staff are supportive, understanding and great teachers. Maths staff are lovely. English staff are, in the nicest way possible, lazy and rude (I haven't had a single experience, beside Ms Maltby she was gorgeous, with an English teacher here that hasn't been unbearable). Good if you are an independent learner. Social aspect is lacking if you don't live near campus so recommend joining sports centres if that's you. Campus itself is pretty and clean. On campus there are free menstrual products available which is always appreciated. Only true complaint about BrisbaneSDE is that they have failed to provide menstrual products in the FEMALE bathroom. This is disrespectful to women and girls. They have done this in the unisex bathroom. This is still great, however majority of students with periods use the female bathroom. Naomi and Rebeka are two of the greatest teachers ive ever had. there is never a boring lesson with them and they make every week better :) most of the teachers here are super helpful and really care
TLDR: If you value your children's education, and your sanity; for the love of all thats good don't send your children here. Our experience at BSDE in the teaching/learning areas: ~Zero awareness of travelling families needs. ~Attendance system is BROKEN. Notifications several times a day, that my kids are not in attendance, while I am WATCHING them participate in class. We have alarms to make sure we're never late for any class. My daughter has been absent two days so far this year, and her attendance rate is around 50% MAKE IT MAKE SENSE! I have received lectures from staff members about their attendance, 'state requirements', and not meeting my responsibilities. SHOUT OUT TO THE QUEENS, BEK AND NAOMI (they taught me everything)!!! I love this school so, so much. The flexible style of learning allows me to be able to do other extracurricular activities. My leadership journey here has allowed me to gain so much confidence, I have made so many friends and built so many life skills. The teachers are awesome and are always willing to help and answer questions.
As with most things, the school has both its advantages and disadvantages. If you‘re a disciplined and motivated person, you will likely thrive at this school. You‘re expected to be quite independent. While teachers can assist and provide you support, you do need to be able to mostly figure things out yourself. Additionally, you need to be able to keep yourself accountable. That being said, if you‘re someone that requires a lot of help and constant reminders to get work done, this school might not be the best option for you. In terms of teachers, most of them are great. I am studying my Certificate at this college located at Brisbane. I took up Ageing Support, the instructors are excellent they help you with the course. And if you have any concerns with the course or about the work you are doing in Nursing Home they are welling to help you.
I had my CPA exam with them on 11 April 2024, the server crashed down so they decided to cancel the exam around noon and guess what they flagged me as not showing in the exam because of that I got didn't sit on the transcript. I tried to call them about this but they didn't answer. Please avoid this center for CPA exam.
Being the Student of this VET i would to say this VET is Fraud, Negligence and Irresponsible College. This college Don’t Cares about student, their urgency, quality of education.They just want money. If you want to pay for nothing i would recommend it otherwise there are more better Colleges than this. 1/10

Confirmation & online forms rcvd by email confirming date, time & practitioner only (NOT SERVICE BOOKED) I arrived at 1250 & was introduced to Preston at 1.11pm & asked to fill out more forms. Just before completion he asked me if I’d had a body wrap before!!!! Being somewhat confused I asked why, for his response to be that I’m having a body wrap today that’s what they do on Wednesdays. Love the cozy and chill environment. The support staff near the entrance are great. Juan is very reliable, approachable and accomodating. Quality of education is underrate. The learning facilitators are top-notch and caring. They genuinely want us to learn.
I had a great experience with Juan at Torrens University Brisbane campus. He provided excellent customer service and was incredibly helpful with my enquiry. All of my questions were answered promptly and thoroughly. His professionalism and attentiveness made the process smooth and stress-free. Five stars!
