Science staff are supportive, understanding and great teachers. Maths staff are lovely. English staff are, in the nicest way possible, lazy and rude (I haven't had a single experience, beside Ms Maltby she was gorgeous, with an English teacher here that hasn't been unbearable).Good if you are an independent learner. Social aspect is lacking if you don't live near campus so recommend joining sports centres if that's you. Campus itself is pretty and clean.On campus there are free menstrual products available which is always appreciated. Only true complaint about BrisbaneSDE is that they have failed to provide menstrual products in the FEMALE bathroom. This is disrespectful to women and girls. They have done this in the unisex bathroom. This is still great, however majority of students with periods use the female bathroom. This is very inconvenient and is uncomfortable for female students who do not wish to use a bathroom with potential male students (I am a victim of this). Please provide menstrual products additionally in the female bathroom.They take awhile to respond to emails but overall try their best. Pathways team is excellent. You can achieve QCE. Fees are expensive for a public school but nothing too outrageous. Recommend if you need an online school.
