When booking the MHFA course with Leigh, I didn't give much thought to what to expect. My workplace is quite forward thinking and genuinely looks for ways to better support the team, so my goal was simply to learn more about mental health and how I can support my colleagues in a moment of crisis (or who simply need some support). Leigh is an absolute god sent of an earth side angel! I have seen Leigh for many years now and I’d be pretty lost without her it’s hard to find the perfect phycologist but yes they truly do exist! Leigh has been there through my highs and lows and I’m just so grateful to have a professional I can turn to in moments of doubt and moment of joy! Rosie was our facilitator for the Mental Health First Aid training in our school setting and it was an incredible experience. Rosie was able to make the entire room feel safe, informed and educated while remaining professional. The course was engaging, eye opening and relevant to the world we live today. Not all resources related to young children but Rosie was able to offer education on young children when asked. No question felt too silly and Rosie made the two days genuinely enjoyable. I wish all training/first aid was like this! I will absolutely seek to do the refresher.

Living in Country NSW makes it difficult to attend Face to Face seminars and training, due to the rising costs of accommodation, meals, and fuel. However, MHA gives me the opportunity to learn and fulfil my OPD commitments in my own home at my own pace. The courses are so informative and yet easy to understand and put into practice. Also having linked MHA to my ACA account means it automatically updates my OPD hours. It's so easy. We'll done MHA
Very clean and bright learning spaces, staff are always friendly and you will often find students and lecturers chatting at the cafe. I would highly recommend coming to open days and checking this university out for yourself!
I have just finished Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care with ACPS. I am very happy with my overall experience. My Trainer Sonam Bajwa had excellent knowledge about the industry. We have learned a lot. Office staff is also very supportive. I would strongly recommend ACPS.

ACPS has been very supportive with the Education Support course. The trainers have been fantastic and very knowledgeable.
Trainer Sana was highly unprofessional and was not a subject matter expert or even doesn’t have knowledge on certain stuff. She struggled to explain even simple things like “ what is duty of care”. She also got high inferiority complex when I provided simple feedback. I dropped out from my second class because I felt I wouldn’t be learning anything from her class, I spoke to an admin staff and she was pretty rude too, later someone called me and offered me to continue with another teacher. In the introduction they were telling that treat people with courtesy and respect and zero tolerance for bullying, which is very important towards the students too, if a trainer can’t uphold that… how can I continue my course? It is pointless.
I did my course in School Based Education Support through ACPS and I must say We had been given very good trainer Komal Rubab.. It was so much fun and also memorable experience in learning with Komal. She is a nice person and with vast knowledge and also have lots of patience as we students used to ask her lots of questions and she always gave answers without getting angry or upset. When ever we got stuck in our assignments she was there to help us. Thanks Komal for your support and your help in getting us through this course..
