When booking the MHFA course with Leigh, I didn't give much thought to what to expect. My workplace is quite forward thinking and genuinely looks for ways to better support the team, so my goal was simply to learn more about mental health and how I can support my colleagues in a moment of crisis (or who simply need some support). Leigh created a fun and engaging learning space and got everyone involved and participating positively. It was the most engaging course I have attended, which was a surprise given the content!I highly recommend any one, or company, looking to add MHFA'ers to the team. But more so to learn more about creating safe workspaces, raising awareness around mental health/illness and how so many factors can influence where each of us sit on that continuum. Thanks Leigh. I have a lot more curiosity now around mental health and will take this knowledge into my work place as well as my family.
