I've completed a Diploma of Counselling with Health Academy Australia and am now enjoying private practice. My tutor was Leonie Schilling and I cannot praise her enough. Leonie was so supportive, patient, knowledgeable and encouraging. When I first started the Diploma my work was sub par as I had not studied for many many years, Leonie was firm but fair with bringing this to my attention and helping me move forward and overcome this. I will be forever thankful that I had Leonie as my tutor and I highly recommend her and the Academy to anyone looking to further their education, and increase their knowledge and improve their skillset. Thank you Leonie and Health Academy Australia.

Source: Google ReviewsThis was defiantly a valuable course to attend. No matter what context we are in, we will all encounter someone living with mental health challenges. This course gave me an opportunity to learn more about mental health and the affect it has on peoples lives as well as how I can provide support for someone experiencing mental health challenges. Trys was very knowledgeable and easily approachable. He made the experience comfortable, especially considering the sensitive topic we were discussing. Great job Trys!

Source: Google ReviewsI was very fortunate to attend a two-day Worksafe Endorsed Return To Work Coordinator course which was facilitated by Teresa Coffey. Teresa and her team provided an excellent two-day course that was both educational and enjoyable. The evidence-based learning materials, interactive sessions and break-out rooms were impactful in helping me understand the different aspects of the course. Teresa Coffey shared her expertise and passion for teaching, making the experience enjoyable and interactive. The pre-recorded learning materials were so enriching that I have to revisits them repeatedly. Course quality and depths of conversations regarding scenarios were admirable. I’m now confident in my ability to support workers in their return to work journey. Thank you, Kindly Teresa, and the team for an excellent learning experience that exceeded my expectations. Jude.

Source: Google ReviewsI attended the RTW Coordinator online course. I had not completed this training for ten years so it was a great refresher. I loved the lay out of the course and the ability to mix self directed learning, with the online live sessions and networking with other coordinators. This was also a great course to cross reference your current policies and procedures against the legislative requirements. I would recommend this course to anyone.
Source: Google ReviewsOur team attended the MHFA training. From booking in to the zoom classes, everything was wonderful. They were quick to respond to any questions or needs, they provided everything we needed, and then for the Zoom classes we had Lauren as the instructor. Our entire team loved the experience with Lauren. They all felt safe in discussing some difficult topics, and we all feel more prepared to provide mental health first aid in our roles.

Source: Google ReviewsWhen booking the MHFA course with Leigh, I didn't give much thought to what to expect. My workplace is quite forward thinking and genuinely looks for ways to better support the team, so my goal was simply to learn more about mental health and how I can support my colleagues in a moment of crisis (or who simply need some support). Leigh created a fun and engaging learning space and got everyone involved and participating positively. It was the most engaging course I have attended, which was a surprise given the content! I highly recommend any one, or company, looking to add MHFA'ers to the team. But more so to learn more about creating safe workspaces, raising awareness around mental health/illness and how so many factors can influence where each of us sit on that continuum. Thanks Leigh.
