I don’t know what happened today they charge me $520 for no reason last week took me $520 as well. I am really afraid they are scam right now. I am trying to call them email them and Facebook them no one answer me. What shall I do?
Mostly online colleges are not that good and cannot be compared to offline ones. But Australian Academy of fashion Design is one institute, which is better than any other college out there, it has a proper curriculum, and an organized page setup for every student.
Do not recommend this “school” you are paying for a classroom only, with no fashion facilities at all. Do not know what the fees you pay go towards as you are not provided with anything. They should not be allowed to trade as a fashion academy it’s an insult to ACTUAL FASHION schools. I lasted 3 classes trying to give it the benefit of the doubt but could not pursue this and pay towards something that isn’t at all worthy.
The worst academy you think to attend they promised me with a work placement after the course finished been waiting for 2 years and nothing happened. Don’t waste your time and money.
I feel welcome and accepted at this tafe. It's a great place where people can learn design. The teachers are great here and encourage you a lot.
Would I ever recommend Enmore as a place to study? If you could cherry pick teachers like James and Chris and let them design their own course yes, but in it’s current form no. The curriculum does not get you job ready. The teachers go dramatically worse as you went further into the course. We had an amazing CAD teacher who explained everything so concisely year 1 and year 2 a teacher who arrived late, spoke about his career for the first half of class then ran out of time to help anyone in the second half. The same teacher inquired if my friend have a learning disability because she didn’t understand him and she ended up needed to hire tutors because he was so impatient and he’d leave u behind if u missed a step. Worst college. Most teachers are great - head teacher of graphic design is on a power trip and has no real advice to give students other than assert her dominance and everyone is scared of her for some reason. The admin staff in the front office are useless and are of no help with anything, ever, they just sit there looking confused and can't help because they have no idea what they're doing. The technology is so old most of the classes are spent watching the loading rainbow on the screen. Definitely do not recommend. Tafe as a whole has become a money hungry useless institution that doesn't know how to record-keep and will force you to pay extra fees that appear from nowhere.
I’ll start off with the TAFE.. It’s pretty good, some teachers are clueless but most have a lot of experience and knowledge in Graphic Design. I’m doing my Diploma of Graphic Design and I can’t wait to learn more in the important classes. Ok.. now the canteen. So expensive for no reason, I’m living off only a couple days of working a week because I come here full time, food is so over priced and the coffee is horrible. The iced drinks are just terrible.. it’s like getting drink with your ice. The only great thing to get from the canteen is hot chips or a chai latte. Anyways, pretty good place to learn graphic design.
The best course I've taken! The course design is excellent! If you want practical and hands-on learning in interior design/decoration, this is the best choice! The instructors are approachable, super supportive, and highly experienced in the industry!
My experience with Hunter Design School wasn't a great one. In my opinion, their biggest downfall was in management, administration and communication. I studied a 6 month course and I think it may have been one of their first.. the whole thing felt rushed and unorganised, and I don't feel as though my time at the school was productive because we were always skipping from lesson to lesson. Additionally, I never received all of my course work at the beginning of my course. Sections were missing, so when we were going through them in class I had to read of someone else's sheet (only 1 student in the class had the whole booklet). This made it difficult when I was trying to learn and practice class work at home. In fact, it wasn't until the second last lesson that I received the completed booklet. Hunter design school is probably one of the only schools I know of that is really passionate about students knowing how to originate design and be job ready. I hear so many messages out in the big world of education, study here and get your dream job, be ambitious, study for free and so forth, but I think this school's message of disruption, boldness, pushing boundaries and owning your future is where education should be. I know some people who see this as a negative and that's ok for those who just want to get a certificate, but from what I see, there are some students who really do want to push those boundaries and be the best at what they do and they have definitely achieved that.
