Firstly, I needed to complete my RSA in a very little amount of time and BarMax made it easy and fun to learn the theory. Do not go here for First Aid Training, especially if English is your second language (even if you are fluent). I completed the course with Joe and he made inappropriate jokes, rushed through the content, was impatient with students with English as their second language (English is my first language), reminded us that he wants to leave on time, then got the entire class to complete the assessment together - in a rush, we didn’t have time to read the questions properly - and handed out the correct answers. He was impatient with students that needed more time to understand the content - he didn’t try to explain it in another way. If a teacher asks students to turn their phones off during the course that is completely reasonable, but not when they use their phone multiple times during the class. I have recently completed the two-week Hospitality Course with the Victorian Bar School. Through this course, I have gained both practical experience as well as theoretical knowledge in areas such as bartending, cocktail making, barista coffee, waiting and food safety. I also received my Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate. All of our trainers were very friendly and exceptionally helpful and encouraging. The experience has been invaluable and has provided me with the skills I need for a job in the hospitality industry. I would definitely recommend doing this course!
