Do not go here for First Aid Training, especially if English is your second language (even if you are fluent). I completed the course with Joe and he made inappropriate jokes, rushed through the content, was impatient with students with English as their second language (English is my first language), reminded us that he wants to leave on time, then got the entire class to complete the assessment together - in a rush, we didn’t have time to read the questions properly - and handed out the correct answers. He was impatient with students that needed more time to understand the content - he didn’t try to explain it in another way. If a teacher asks students to turn their phones off during the course that is completely reasonable, but not when they use their phone multiple times during the class. I have recently completed the two-week Hospitality Course with the Victorian Bar School. Through this course, I have gained both practical experience as well as theoretical knowledge in areas such as bartending, cocktail making, barista coffee, waiting and food safety. I also received my Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate. All of our trainers were very friendly and exceptionally helpful and encouraging. The experience has been invaluable and has provided me with the skills I need for a job in the hospitality industry. I would definitely recommend doing this course!

RSA Melbourne is a fantastic learning environment for any and all people, providing safe and open learning spaces along with friendly and well trained staff. Straight off the bat, as you turn up to their floor of 28 Elizabeth Street, you are welcomed by the friendly receptionists, who go through the course that you want to do with you. They also explain all the stages that there are to be done in your course as well as help you fill out the enrolment forms. First day of class was nerve-racking at first. I did the RSA training and have to give a shout out to Gem!. She's an amazing trainer that made the 4 hours feel like it just flew by. Gem really knew the content, had insightful and hilarious experiences to share and was really thorough. Overall this was a really engaging workshop that's highly recommended.
It's a scam. You pay for the course thinking its a full course, but it turns out to only be an introduction for an RSA. DON'T USE THIS WEBSITE IF YOU WANT A PROPER RSA COURSE, USE CLEAR TO WORK.
