I did my Bachelor of Counselling with AIPC and I absolutely would not recommend them to anyone. To start, the prices are literally insane - they bumped up the price at the end of last year by $200 for a unit that did not change at all. Their placement units are $2,490, and they don’t help you find placement and only do 6 2 hour webinars. The marking consistency was shocking, and I had multiple units where students were either failed or almost failed with feedback that made no sense. The markers left personal attacks as feedback, and often went completely against things we had been told or marked correctly on by other lecturers. All students are told to wait 3 days to ‘cool off’ after receiving marks- categorically insulting to students to prevent them from reaching out for support after receiving marks that many times were completely unfair. This is not a spite review- I didn’t fail any subjects and I dragged myself through this degree but my biggest regret is going with AIPC.

Financial Counselling course is structured very well thus far, and the face-to-face role play practical sessions are amazing. Well worth doing the practical sessions with other students. Facilitators are encouraging and provide excellent feedback.
