I was working at an INGO in Abuja, Nigeria but i was dissatisfied with the impact I was making in my field, so I chose to switch to mental healthcare provision at the age of 30.Studied Counselling with AIPC completely online from Nigeria, and it was a very thorough course. They are also always reviewing and updating the modules, they've introduced podcasts as well as videos to help students learn. The course materials are exhaustive and written in plain english.The only challenge I had was getting accustomed to the technical terms and concepts of counselling. Asides that, I loved the feedback on assessments especially when i had NYCs.I am enrolling for the Masters in Counselling starting 2024, thats how comfortable and confident I am about the quality of education they provide.
