Do not go here for First Aid Training, especially if English is your second language (even if you are fluent). I completed the course with Joe and he made inappropriate jokes, rushed through the content, was impatient with students with English as their second language (English is my first language), reminded us that he wants to leave on time, then got the entire class to complete the assessment together - in a rush, we didn’t have time to read the questions properly - and handed out the correct answers. He was impatient with students that needed more time to understand the content - he didn’t try to explain it in another way. If a teacher asks students to turn their phones off during the course that is completely reasonable, but not when they use their phone multiple times during the class. Students who paid extra for the advanced first aid were rushed through 6 slides - completely inadequate to grasp the concepts. The place is dirty, there is a single bathroom - which would be ok if it was clean - but it was disgusting. The room was filthy, the desks had clearly never been wiped. After completing this course I don’t feel confident about what to do if I had to administer first aid.
